AMOS

Meet Amos. To say that my husband and I love this puppy would be an understatement! Making the decision to rehome Amos may be the hardest decision we have ever made. We purchased him as a baby and have enjoyed every minute of our time with him.

Unfortunately, he is a young boy with a big personality and we have learned he is not suited for families with small children/pets and a chaotic lifestyle. Our children are giving us grandchildren and during a visit with my young niece, Amos became far too aggressive/reactive for us to feel safe. He has struggled with our cat and we have invested a lot of money into both positive behavior training as well as balanced training in home and away. He is excellent with dogs of all sizes and full-sized humans.

His trainer advises that Amos would be well suited with a family who has no young children and a fairly quiet home life. She has generously offered to give a few free training sessions to whoever adopts him and he has already completed a board and train session with her.

Amos has tons of energy, but he is also an excellent dog to just lay around at your feet. He would make an excellent work dog or running companion. We have had his genetic testing done and he is mostly Siberian Husky with a smidge of Pomeranian and an equal part pit. At one year old our vet says he is full grown and is 46 pounds. He is current on all vaccinations and has a wellness plan through Banfield. He was born in October of 2021. When he finds his new family, he will come with his crate, leash, ecollar, and all belongings. We are desperate to find him a new home where he will be loved and adored.
