Dog Surrender

WE ARE CURRENTLY ON AN INTAKE HOLD, BECAUSE OF THIS WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT SUBMIT AN INTAKE REQUEST Form UNTIL THIS note HAS BEEN REMOVED.

WE SUGGEST THAT YOU CHECK BACK HERE EVERY 2 WEEKS.
We look forward to many happy adoptions, opening up space at our rescue & sanctuary so that
we are able to help with your furry friend.

We are able to take in a small number of owner surrender pets when space allows, however here at New Life Asher House our primary goal is to help those dogs who are at high risk of euthanasia, therefore we do focus on taking dogs from other shelters, rescue groups and humane societies where they are at greater risk of being put to sleep.
Please be aware that we do not accept “drop offs” of pets, all dogs being surrendered to our care must have a scheduled appointment. Due to the high volume of requests, sadly there is no guarantee that we can help with your pet.  

Please submit surrender requests for pets that you are looking to find rescue and rehoming for. Our focus here at New Life Asher House is to rescue, care for and find wonderful new families for the dogs who come into our care. Although we do provide lifelong sanctuary for farmed animals and any dogs who come into our care who may not end up finding an adoptive family it is always our goal to place each dog who comes to the rescue with a forever family of their own.

If you are looking to find permanent placement for a pet you believe needs lifelong sanctuary please reach out to our The Asher House sanctuary location at info@theasherhouse.com and specify that you are looking for permanent sanctuary placement for you dog.

We do require that all owner surrendered dogs be friendly with other dogs & able to function in a group setting similar to the dog park.
