Hi! My name is Winnie and I'm a playful and energetic two-year-old staffy/mixed terrier pup who just wants to love her people and run and jump and play! I haven’t met a toy I don't love chewing on, and I am working really hard on my manners. I am nervous whenever new people come over or when meeting strangers (dogs and humans) on walks, but with training, patience, and practice, I have gotten a lot better! At the end of the day, nothing beats a good nap or snuggle session (or in the middle of the day works, too).
A note from Winnie's current people - We absolutely adore Winnie but our long-time pup is having a really hard time (sadly, Winnie loves him but the feeling is not mutual). She is goofy, sweet, bubbly, and smart! We’ve had success with distraction training, a gentle leader, and can manage Winnie easily on walks but she will need more and consistent training to be her best self.
