We do keep this listing very current. New adoptable dogs are posted here weekly, dogs who have been adopted are moved to the Happy Endings page at the end of each adoption day.
Because we are not only a rescue but a sanctuary the dogs who come into our care have a safe place to live until they are adopted, so some of our residents have been in our care for months or even years.

I’m a rough-and-tumble kind of guy, so if you’ve got other dogs who enjoy a good, energetic play session, we’ll get along famously. But when the playing is over? It’s nap time. I’m a champ at napping. Seriously, I’m a pro. I’ve been known to out-nap the best of ‘em.
Kids? I’m cool with them as long as they’re 8 or older and can respect my space. I’m a big guy, and while I love attention, I prefer a slow approach when meeting new people. As for cats? I’m Homer and I’ve got more personality than a pizza has toppings, but not everyone likes all the toppings. Everyone has different tastes. Ya know how some people like anchovies on their pizza? I’m kinda like that. Not the right fit for everyone. I’m a very shy guy who will require a lot of patience, don’t expect me to warm up like an oven. I’m an ember you have to tend to, nurture. Every princess needs to be rescued now and then, so here I am looking for my family-in-shining-armor! Sure, there will be trials and tribulations along the way…a young princess such as myself still has plenty to learn, and much guidance will be needed. I’m also going to need plenty of TLC. I was born with some bone deformities that will take special care along the way so that I can stay as heathy and happy as can be when I get to be an older girl. But what a happy puppy I am! Toby or Not Toby, that is the question—and the answer is Toby, of course! I mean, look at me! This smile can light up a room. My heart is as soft and shiny as this stunning coat of fur I wear upon my back, but I do have some anxiety in new situations that I need to have respected so I will need you to take it slow and easy. I’ll share my love with other dogs, but no cats, please. I will even enjoy the company of respectful teens + who understand how to be very patient and understanding. Truth is, I’ll take all the love and affection I can get, but I want to feel safe first and have my boundaries respected! I’m still a young fella and although I have had lots of training, like crate training and housetraining basic commands I want to find a family who will give me the time, guidance and structure I need to blossom into the best boy I can be. Hi, I’m Woody!
I’m a lot of dog, some may even say the biggest dog they’ve ever seen! Part Alaskan Malemute/ German shepherd. I’m not just the biggest dog wherever I go, I’m also the smartest and most handsome. I’m incredibly humble about it too :)
I need a family who can give me the mental and physical stimulation I need to be the big happy pup that I am. I love people and I love dogs so much, I could just play all day. Like literally all day. But if you wanna just hangout and cuddle, I’d love that too. Just as long as I get a few good walks in too please!
Although I weigh 105lbs I tend to forget how big I am, so some training would definitely help me with my manners. I love to learn and I love to please. I know I’m a giant but I’m a baby at heart, I adore attention and would love all that kids have to offer but will do best with kids 8+ just because of what a big boy I am- I wouldn’t want to run those little tykes over! I can be homebody but I also really love adventures and would love to be in a home that has an active lifestyle and won’t keep me kenneled all day. I need to stretch my long legs often and running and hiking brings out the best in me! I’ve overheard people say I’m the perfect combination of really active and super chill!
Small dogs, big dogs I love em all but I can be a bit overwhelming for cats. I don’t wanna eat cats or anything but I just don’t understand why they don’t want to play with me and I’m certainly not a quitter! I never give up or pass up on an opportunity to play with anyone or anything!
